2 day class: Saturday January 12th
& Saturday January 19th, 9 am - 3: 30 pm
Come and join us for this introduction to quilting experience designed for the advanced beginner or beyond sewist. The goal of this class is to learn some quilting basics and at the end come away with a completed 48 by 60 inch quilt, but you've got to do your homework!
In this quilting experience students will get some understanding of using a rotary cutter and cutting mat, learning how to piece the quilt together, how to sandwich the quilt and bind the quilt. We do recommend for those with no previous experience with a rotary cutter that you leave your materials with us for the instructor to do a little pre-cutting of your quilting materials or if you have a rotary cutter at home it may be nice to do some cutting before class. If you are leaving your materials please ensure that they are at Nelson Stitch Lab at least one week before the class.
